Senior students dress up as teachers and take up their roles, giving out lectures and teaching the students of primary level. Today, on this special occasion of Teacher’s Day, I am going to give this speech on behalf of entire class. First of all I would like to put a light on when Teachers’ Day is celebrated? So the answer is Happy Teachers Day celebrated on 5th of September in India every year but the date for celebrating the Day varies from different country to countries across the world. Whereas, in China Student celebrates this special event on 10th of September every year. The celebration of teachers day in each and every country is generally correlated to either significant great personalities or achievements of milestone in the related field of education.
India celebrates Teachers’ Day on 5th of Sept since 1962 as it remarks the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a prominent thinker, great philosopher and a brilliant educator Person. He was a former Indian president Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He always believed that “ the teachers should be the best minds in the country”. The special event of happy Teachers’ Day is celebrated as a tribute given to the valuable contribution ,which has been made by the teachers to the whole society by imparting knowledge, enlightening and shaping up the career of students and childrens. The Celebration of Teachers’ Day is fairly popular in many countries across the world but it is most popular in india and it is even acknowledged by UNESCO. Teachers Day 2021 Speech in Hindi
भारत भूमि पर अनेक विभूतियों ने अपने ज्ञान से हम सभी का मार्ग दर्शन किया है। उन्ही में से एक महान विभूति शिक्षाविद्, दार्शनिक, महानवक्ता एवं आस्थावान हिन्दु विचारक डॉ. सर्वपल्लवी राधाकृष्णन जी ने शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अमूल्य योगदान दिया है। उनकी मान्यता थी कि यदि सही तरीके से शिक्षा दी जाय़े तो समाज की अनेक बुराईयों को मिटाया जा सकता है।
ऐसी महान विभूति का जन्मदिन शिक्षक दिवस के रूप में मनाना हम सभी के लिये गौरव की बात है। डॉ. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन जी के व्यक्तित्व का ही असर था कि 1952 में आपके लिये संविधान के अंतर्गत उपराष्ट्रपति का पद सृजित किया गया। स्वतंत्र भारत के पहले उपराष्ट्रपति जब 1962 में राष्ट्रपति बने तब कुछ शिष्यों ने एवं प्रशंसकों ने आपसे निवेदन किया कि वे उनका जनमदिन शिक्षक दिवस के रूप में मनाना चाहते हैं। तब डॉ. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन जी ने कहा कि मेरे जन्मदिवस को शिक्षक दिवस के रूप में मनाने से मैं अपने आप को गौरवान्वित महसूस करूंगा। तभी से 5 सितंबर को शिक्षक दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाने लगा।
डॉ. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन जी ज्ञान के सागर थे। उनकी हाजिर जवाबी का एक किस्सा आपसे Share कर रहे हैः—
एक बार एक प्रतिभोज के अवसर पर अंग्रेजों की तारीफ करते हुए एक अंग्रेज ने कहा – “ईश्वर हम अंग्रेजों को बहुत प्यार करता है। उसने हमारा निर्माण बङे यत्न और स्नेह से किया है। इसी नाते हम सभी इतने गोरे और सुंदर हैं।“ उस सभा में डॉ. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन जी भी उपस्थित थे। उन्हे ये बात अच्छी नही लगी अतः उन्होने उपस्थित मित्रों को संबोधित करते हुए एक मनगढंत किस्सा सुनाया-
“मित्रों, एक बार ईश्वर को रोटी बनाने का मन हुआ उन्होने जो पहली रोटी बनाई, वह जरा कम सिकी। परिणामस्वरूप अंग्रेजों का जन्म हुआ। दूसरी रोटी कच्ची न रह जाए, इस नाते भगवान ने उसे ज्यादा देर तक सेंका और वह जल गई। इससे निग्रो लोग पैदा हुए। मगर इस बार भगवान जरा चौकन्ने हो गये। वह ठीक से रोटी पकाने लगे। इस बार जो रोटी बनी वो न ज्यादा पकी थी न ज्यादा कच्ची। ठीक सिकी थी और परिणाम स्वरूप हम भारतियों का जन्म हुआ।“
ये किस्सा सुनकर उस अग्रेज का सिर शर्म से झुक गया और बाकी लोगों का हँसते हँसते बुरा हाल हो गया।
मित्रों, ऐसे संस्कारित एवं शिष्ट माकूल जवाब से किसी को आहत किये बिना डॉ. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन जी ने भारतीयों को श्रेष्ठ बना दिया। डॉ. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन जी का मानना था कि व्यक्ति निर्माण एवं चरित्र निर्माण में शिक्षा का विशेष योगदान है। वैश्विक शान्ति, वैश्विक समृद्धि एवं वैश्विक सौहार्द में शिक्षा का महत्व अतिविशेष है। उच्चकोटी के शिक्षाविद् डॉ. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन जी को भारत के प्रथम राष्ट्रपति महामहीम डॉ. राजेन्द्र प्रसाद ने भारतरत्न से सम्मानित किया।
महामहीम राष्ट्रपति डॉ. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन जी के विचारों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, मित्रों मेरा ये मानना है कि शिक्षक दिवस के पुनित अवसर पर हम सब ये प्रण करें कि शिक्षा की ज्योति को ईमानदारी से अपने जीवन में आत्मसात करेंगे क्योंकि शिक्षा किसी में भेद नही करती, जो इसके महत्व को समझ जाता है वो अपने भविष्य को सुनहरा बना लेता है।

Good morning to the respected teachers and my dear colleagues. As we all know the reason of nice gathering here in such a huge crowd. We are here to celebrate Teacher’s day today and to give them our heartily tribute for their hard efforts of making our and nation’s future. Today is 5th of September and at this day we celebrate teachers day every year with lots of joy, happiness and enthusiasm. First of all I would like to thank my class teacher to give me such a big opportunity to speech here at this great occasion. My dear friends, today on the occasion of Teachers Day, I would like to speech on importance of teachers in our life in English.
5th of September is celebrated as Teachers’ Day all over the India every year. Actually 5th of September is the birth anniversary of the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a great scholar and teacher. In his later life first he became the Vice President of Indian republic and then the President of Indian republic.
Students all across the country observe this day to pay respect to their teachers. It is truly said that teachers are like back bone of our society. They play a great role in building up the characters of students and shape them to become an ideal citizens of India.
Teachers teach students very carefully and sincerely just like their own children. It is well said that teachers are great than the parents. Parents give birth to a child whereas teachers shape his/her character and make future bright. Thus we never forget and ignore them, we always respect and love them. Our parents are responsible for giving us love and quality care however our teachers are responsible for making whole future bright and successful. They let us know the importance of education in our life through their continuous efforts. They are the source of inspiration to us which help us to go ahead and get success. They motivate us towards study by giving examples of great personalities all over the world. They make us so strong and prepare to withstand any obstacle of the life. They become full of immense knowledge and wisdom using which they nourish our lives. Come on my dear friends, say together that ‘our respected teachers we are always grateful to you for all you do to us’. My dear friends we should always obey our teachers orders and follow their advice to be the worthy citizens of India.

मेरे दो बहुत ही अच्छे दोस्त एक सरकारी विभाग में कार्यरत थे। उन्हें जिस व्यक्ति चौरसियाजी द्वारा यह नौकरी मिली थी, ये दोनों उनके ही मातहत थे। एक दिन चौरसियाजी की उनके वरिष्ठ अधिकारी से किसी बात पर कहासुनी हो गई। चौरसियाजी से बदला लेने के लिए उनके वरिष्ठ ने मेरे दोनों मित्रों को अपने पास बुलाया और कहा कि यदि चौरसियाजी के खिलाफ वह दोनों उसकी मदद करें तो उनका (चौरसियाजी का) तबादला कहीं और करवा देंगे और इन दोनों की पदोन्नति की सिफारिश सरकार से करेंगे।
लेकिन इसके जवाब में इन दोनों ने अपने इस्तीफे उस वरिष्ठ अधिकारी के पास प्रेषित कर दिए और कहा हमें ऐसी नौकरी की जरूरत नहीं है और वाकई उन्होंने वह नौकरी छोड़ दी। मैंने जब उनसे पूछा कि यह क्या किया, इतनी सी बात पर तुम लोग सरकारी नौकरी छोड़कर आ गए।
बोले यार इस दुनिया में नौकरी, पद, पैसा ही सबकुछ नहीं है। आज जो काम करने का वह हमसे कह रहा था। हम उसका कहना मान लेते तो इससे घृणित कार्य तो हमारे जीवन का कुछ होता ही नहीं। और इसके लिए हमारी आत्मा हमें मंजूरी नहीं दे रही थी। अब हम कुछ और काम कर लेंगे लेकिन वहाँ नौकरी नहीं कर सकेंगे।
दिल को अच्छा लगा कि वाकई आज सामाजिक और मानवीय मूल्यों को बरकरार रखने वाले लोग भी इस दुनिया में हैं और मैं तो उनका अभिन्न मित्र हूँ। उनके प्रति दिल में आदर और बढ़ गया। जीवन की पाठशाला का महत्व बताने वाले मेरे ये मित्र होने के साथ मेरे गुरु भी हो गए। इस दुनिया में पैसा, पद, नौकरी आदि से भी बढ़कर कई चीजें हैं। आज हमारे आसपास कई घटनाएँ होते हुए हम देख रहे हैं, समाचार पत्रों में पढ़ रहे हैं कि आदमी वहशीपन की कितनी हदें आसानी से पार करता जा रहा है लेकिन अच्छा इंसान बनकर श्रेष्ठ जीवन जीना क्या इतना मुश्किल है। नहीं, कभी नहीं।
क्या गुरु वही होता है जो कक्षा में बोर्ड पर लिख-लिखकर हमें पाठ्यपुस्तक पढ़ाए। जी नहीं, जीवन में जिससे भी हम कुछ सीख रहे हैं वह हमारा गुरु है। एक रोज सुबह सड़क पर जा रहा था। एक लगभग 6-7 वर्ष की स्कूल की छात्रा केवल सड़क के एक ही ओर देखकर उसे पार कर रही थी। मैं पीछे से निकला और कहा बेटा, दोनों ओर देखकर सड़क पार करो नहीं तो टकरा जाओगी। वास्तव में वह मेरी गाड़ी से टकराते-टकराते बची थी।
केवल 5-10 मिनट बाद मैं अपने ऑफिस पहुँचा और गेट पर बगैर पीछे मुड़े मैंने अपने वाहन से सड़क पार करना चाही और मैं अन्य दोपहिया वाहन से टकरा गया। वाहन थोड़ा सा क्षतिग्रस्त हुआ और मुझे उसी बच्ची का चेहरा याद आ गया जिसे मैं समझाकर आया था। मानो कह रही हो मैं तो केवल मेरे माध्यम से आपको समझाना चाह रही थी कि सड़क दोनों ओर देखकर पार करनी चाहिए लेकिन आप ही उसमें चूक कर गए। तो ऐसी छोटी-छोटी घटनाएँ और पात्र आपके जीवन में गुरु का काम करते हैं उनकी अनदेखी न करते हुए उनसे सीख लें, जीवन में जरूर काम आएँगी।
